Two cases of the newly detected Omicron Covid variant have been detected in Odisha after the variant was confirmed following genome sequencing.
Sources said one of the affected persons had returned from Nigeria recently and the other arrived from Qatar.
However, there has been no official confirmation on the details of the Omicron-infected persons so far.
