Disobeying the Supreme Court’s order : Kotpad Non-veg Market is on the side of the national highway

The Kotpad area has been found to be openly violating the order of the Supreme Court. The Notified area council appears to have strongly supported the amnesty traders for selling Mutton and Fish on the side of the road.It is to be noted here that a nonveg Market building was set up at Basuguda in Kotpad town at an estimated cost of Rs 45 lakh with the aim of implementing the Supreme Court order in the Kotpad area and streamlining the market. For a few months, the non-veg market was in full swing. But then the traders left the non-veg market one by one and started selling again on the streets, showing that they were not trading in the non-veg market, but the notified area council administration knew all along and remained silent.

Despite the fact that the Nonveg market, which is made up of from taxes of ordinary people, has become a ghost house and it has become a nightmare for the anti-social youth movement, and the administration is reluctant to reopen the nonveg market, despite the fact that it has closed for several months. The people of the city also demanded that the then executive officer, Mr. Umashankar Sethi to reorganize and implemented in the non-veg market a few months back, but that the administration has been dormant since then due to internal mutual understanding with traders of meat and fish. The highway is selling a lot of fish and meat on the both side of the road.On the mean time Sri Rajendra khora taken the charge of Executive officer of Kotpad NAC . Now it remains to be seen weather the administration will wake up or not and the time will tell what will do in connection to reorganize and relocation of meat and fish traders at newly constructed non-veg market.
