when will Durua got Tribal status?

They have been protesting for more than 15 years. Three general elections have been held, but their demands have not been met. We are talking about the Durua community living in Koraput district. The Durua community, which lives like a tribal, continues to fight for tribal status. This is Siribeda village in Gupteswar panchayat under Boipariguda block of Koraput district. The people of the Durua community live here. The houses are not to be shaken. The people are living in dangerous conditions. Some people have put asbestos on their livelihoods, putting heavy objects on it for fear of flying in the wind. Despite repeated complaints to the administration and the people about the plight of the people, no action has been taken. The people of Durua have complained that they are being deprived of government benefits as they are OBC class in Odisha. In 2015, Congress leaders were arrested in connection with a roadblock case demanding the abolition of indigenous peoples. Congress leaders and ministers have been arrested and released on bail, but members of the Durua community have not yet been granted tribal status. The people of the Durua community, like the tribal, have been celebrating weddings, vows, and festivals. While the people of the Durua community are not being referred to by the tribal in various cultural programs from the panchayat level to the block level and from the district level to the state level, they have expressed their grief that they have not been given tribal status to date. To this day in the Durua community, animals and birds are sacrificed to Thakur during the festival. The 2018 Adirani winner also danced with her community on the “2018 Festival” stage. Pallavi Durua, who was awarded the “Adirani” award at the national festival on the “Parab-2018” stage at Boipariguda in Koraput district, rocked the dance festival with members of her Durua community. Shiribeda, a village inhabited by Durua tribals near Gupteswar panchayat in Boipariguda block. Pallavi Durua, a girl from the same village, won the ‘Adirani’ award last year in Bhubaneswar at a national competition for tribal youth organized by Kalinga Gaurab. Pallavi is now a third-year third-year student of Kudumulugumma DM College in Malkangiri district. He had to face a lot of setbacks to get the honor out of conservative society. The responsibility of the 4 daughters and sons fell on the mother Deuli Durua. On the block-level “Parab-2018” stage, Adirani Pallavi Durua danced with the people of her community. Even with the title of “Adirani”, the government has not been able to give tribal status to the tribal community. The dance troupe of this Durua community has been clapping every year at PARAB , so it remains to be seen when the government will give tribal status to the Durua community.
